Abadan border guards seize 382,000 liters of smuggled fuel

Border guards in Abadan, Khuzestan province, have seized a foreign tugboat carrying approximately 382,000 liters of smuggled diesel fuel in the northern waters of the Persian Gulf.

Following a rapid response operation, authorities identified and intercepted the vessel, resulting in the arrest of 11 foreign nationals. Experts have estimated the value of the seized fuel shipment to be more than 570 billion rials. The suspects and the vessel have been handed over to the relevant judicial authorities.
