Šabački vašar festival features musical commentary and star appearances

The Šabački vašar festival continues to draw significant attention, featuring various musical performances and industry commentary. Singer Ljuba Aličić, speaking from his hometown of Šabac, criticized current trends in the music scene, suggesting that visual spectacle and provocative shows are being prioritized over vocal quality.

Performer Rada Manojlović also drew crowds at the event, arriving with security to manage large numbers of fans. Her appearance, noted for its specific fashion choices, contributed to the festival's atmosphere.

In contrast, the festival noted the continued absence of Vesna Vukelić Vendi. Following a dispute with organizers two years ago, the singer has not performed at the event's 'blue tent' despite her long history of participation. Colleague Era Ojdanić commented on the breakdown of relations between Vendi and the tent owner, noting that while the organizers claimed they could proceed without her, she remains a significant figure in the eyes of the public.
