Aban Ahmed car accident dashcam footage released

Dashcam footage has emerged showing the fatal car accident that killed Aban Ahmed, the 21-year-old son of deceased gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed. The footage, recorded by a vehicle following the white Hyundai Creta, shows the SUV speeding on the Jhansi-Kanpur National Highway before losing control, hitting a concrete divider, and becoming airborne.

The accident occurred on August 6 in the Jhansi district of Uttar Pradesh while Aban was traveling with friends to visit his brother, Ali Ahmed, at Jhansi Jail. The crash resulted in the deaths of Aban and his friend Sonu, while three other passengers sustained injuries. Post-mortem reports indicated that Aban died from massive internal injuries, including brain hemorrhage and ruptured organs, caused by the high-impact collision.

Local authorities are currently verifying the authenticity of the video. Following the incident, Aban was buried in Prayagraj under heavy security. The Allahabad High Court recently granted conditional parole to Aban’s incarcerated brothers, Ali and Umar, to allow them to attend the funeral proceedings.
