ABBA and musical tributes featured in upcoming cultural programming

Various musical and comedy programs are scheduled for broadcast and live performance. A tribute show titled ‘ABBAlution’ by the band YVOLUTION celebrates the hits of ABBA, including ‘Dancing Queen’ and ‘Waterloo’, using authentic 1970s outfits and sounds.

On October 3, 2026, the German broadcaster WDR will air a 90-minute special titled ‘Legendär! Wir feiern ABBA und ihre Hits’, featuring commentary from guests such as comedian Thomas Hermanns and dancer Isabel Edvardsson. This will be followed by ‘Legendär - Unsere Musikerinnen’, a program honoring influential female musicians like Hildegard Knef and Helene Fischer, hosted by Penny McLean and Ross Antony.

Additionally, SWR Fernsehen will broadcast ‘Scheunenknaller - Das Beste aus der Comedy Scheune’, a special compilation of comedy highlights featuring acts such as ‘Hillu's Herzdropfa’ and ‘Elsbeth und Alois Gscheidle’.
