Abbas Arakchi claims Iran won both war and diplomacy
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi stated that Iran has successfully navigated both military and diplomatic challenges following attacks launched by the United States and Israel on February 28. Speaking at a memorandum of understanding signing ceremony hosted by the Iranian Ministry of Health, Arakchi focused on the reconstruction of infrastructure damaged during the conflict.
Arakchi claimed that Iran has proven itself to be an ‘invincible power’ and noted that various international officials have acknowledged Iran’s successful resistance. He contrasted the current situation with the beginning of the conflict, recalling a call for ‘unconditional surrender’ from US President Donald Trump. Arakchi asserted that despite such initial rhetoric, adversaries were forced to seek negotiations within approximately 20 days.
The minister emphasized that Iran’s success extends to the diplomatic arena, where the nation has defended its rights. The event also marked a commitment to strengthening cooperation in health and diplomacy to facilitate the repair of civilian and medical infrastructure affected by the hostilities.
