Abdelilah Benkirane attacks PAM and Mansouri in political rallies

Abdelilah Benkirane, leader of the Justice and Development Party (PJD), has launched sharp political attacks against Fatima Zahra Mansouri and the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) during election campaign rallies in Taroudant and Agadir.

Benkirane accused the PAM of being a “Zionist party” and criticized media figures who support Mansouri’s potential candidacy for Prime Minister. He specifically targeted an unnamed journalist associated with the phrase “we are all Israelis,” warning Mansouri that if she does not distance herself from such pro-normalization rhetoric, he will consider her “Israel’s candidate for the Moroccan government.”

While Benkirane stated he holds personal respect for Mansouri, he urged her to clarify her stance against those he described as supporters of the Israeli state. He also accused certain groups of attempting to control the political process and manipulate voters through state resources and media influence.
