Abdellah Ouazane attracts interest from Chelsea and Manchester City

Ajax prospect Abdellah Ouazane has drawn significant interest from several major European football clubs. Chelsea and Manchester City are reportedly pursuing the 17-year-old Moroccan international, who has impressed in the Eredivisie with his versatility as a left winger and attacking midfielder.

Other elite clubs, including Real Madrid and Juventus, are also monitoring the player. Real Madrid previously attempted to sign him in 2025, while Juventus is currently competing for his signature.

Ajax is attempting to retain the youngster by negotiating a contract extension beyond his current 2028 expiration. However, negotiations have encountered difficulties, as Ouazane’s representatives are reportedly requesting annual wages between €4 million and €5 million. Ajax sporting director Jordi Cruyff is reportedly hesitant to meet these demands due to the club’s existing salary structure.
