Janus Henderson Boosts Holding in Freeport-McMoRan as Institutional Investors Rebalance Positions

Janus Henderson Group PLC increased its stake in Freeport-McMoRan Inc. by 101.2% in the first quarter, bringing its ownership to 11,498,267 shares valued at roughly $676 million. Other institutional investors also adjusted their positions: Arrowstreet Capital lifted its holdings by 98.8%, Franklin Resources added 31.2%, Amundi raised its stake by 102.5%, and Victory Capital increased its share by 28.9%. Collectively, institutional owners now control about 80.8% of Freeport-McMoRan.

Separately, WhiteFiber Inc. shares jumped 20.1% to $24.72 after several analysts raised price targets and reaffirmed buy ratings. Analysts from Cantor Fitzgerald, Barclays, B. Riley Financial, Needham & Company, and BTIG lifted their targets, leading to a consensus “Moderate Buy” with a price objective of $34.83. The company reported a quarterly loss of $0.31 per share, with revenue of $21.92 million, but still saw a 30.4% year‑over‑year revenue increase.
