Abhijeet Dipke announces new CJP campaigns and school reform initiative

Abhijeet Dipke, founder of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), has announced several new initiatives following the group's previous protests at Delhi's Jantar Mantar. Dipke plans to launch the ‘School Thik Karo’ campaign on August 15, which aims to address neglected infrastructure in rural government schools, such as clean water, electricity, and sanitation, through community-led social audits.

Additionally, Dipke announced a second phase of the Jantar Mantar agitation, referred to as ‘Season 2’. This follows allegations that the group faced difficulties securing venues for meetings due to pressure from the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

The CJP's activities have also intersected with legal and social media discussions. The Supreme Court has agreed to hear a plea regarding the alleged use of facial recognition and biometric surveillance by Delhi Police during recent CJP protests. Meanwhile, analysts have noted the high digital engagement of the CJP's movements on platforms like Instagram compared to other regional student protests.
