Abhijeet Dipke pauses CJP protests until Diwali

Abhijeet Dipke, chief of the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), has announced a suspension of all protests until Diwali. He urged supporters to spend the festival period with their families, noting that activists and their relatives have faced significant hardships over the last 10 to 12 days, including physical assaults on the streets and difficulties during detention.

Dipke addressed the ongoing imprisonment of party members Saurabh Das and Ashutosh, stating that their incarceration will not end the movement. He highlighted the personal toll on these families, noting that Ashutosh was unable to be with his family during a recent bereavement due to his imprisonment.

Emphasizing a philosophy of non-violence, Dipke compared the movement to Mahatma Gandhi’s Satyagraha. He stated that the movement aims to combat hatred through love, compassion, and kindness, and pledged that supporters would continue to follow the principles of the Constitution and non-violence.
