Cockroach Janata Party launches nationwide 'Kya Bolti Public' pressure‑group campaign in India

The youth‑led Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) announced that it will operate as a public pressure group rather than contest elections, following mass protests that forced Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan to resign. Founder Abhijeet Dipke unveiled a nationwide outreach programme called “Kya Bolti Public,” set to begin in September 2026. The campaign will travel across India to hear young people’s concerns on education affordability, unemployment, and the perceived loss of trust in institutions such as the Election Commission, judiciary and media. A simultaneous membership drive and the formation of a national working committee aim to build an organisational base for future activism. CJP also reported threats against an Assam state office‑bearer, prompting a request for police protection. The movement cites the ideals of Jawaharlal Nehru, B.R. Ambedkar and Mahatma Gandhi and positions itself as a pressure group seeking institutional accountability and reforms.
