Yemen military launches 'Fajr al-Yemen' operation to reclaim territory

Yemeni military forces have launched the 'Fajr al-Yemen' (Dawn of Yemen) operation, aimed at restoring state institutions and reclaiming territory from Houthi militia control. Presidential Leadership Council member Othman Mujalli reported significant field victories, including the liberation of the Dhubab area and the city of Al Mokha on the West Coast.

Mujalli emphasized that the military campaign is a long-term effort to reclaim all of Yemen, including Sana'a and Sa'dah, and noted the support provided by the Saudi-led coalition. He characterized the Houthi movement as an entity acting on an Iranian agenda.

Sheikh Walid bin Nasser al-Fadhli, head of the Abyan tribes alliance, stated that the end of the Houthi project is approaching. He predicted a strategic shift in the military control map and indicated that the upcoming operations would utilize strategic weaponry not previously seen in the conflict. Al-Fadhli called on Yemeni tribes to support the armed forces to stabilize the internal front.
