Abruzzo regional council sets political agenda for Emiciclo week, Aug 4‑6
The political week at the Emiciclo of the Abruzzo Regional Council begins Tuesday 4 August with an extraordinary session of the Fifth Consular Commission on normalising liquidity of regional health service entities, followed by the First Commission on the 2026‑2028 budget draft, and a conference of group leaders addressing drainage consortia and the CRB/BPO employment crisis.
Wednesday sees the First Commission meet jointly with the Second Commission on a feasibility study to split the regional single territorial area, with ERSI Abruzzo president Luigi Di Loreto speaking. Thursday opens with the Vigilance Commission reviewing the public tender for multi‑year exploitation of mineral, thermal and spring waters in Caramanico Terme, with regional president Marco Marsilio and other officials. The Fifth Commission later examines proposals to establish a regional civil‑protection day in memory of Don Orione, to honour Corradino D’Ascanio and the Vespa as symbols of Abruzzese ingenuity, and to institutionalise the Sulmona jousting festival.
