Building collapses reported in Kisii and Abuja

The Kenya Red Cross, alongside county emergency response teams, police, and fire services, is conducting search and rescue operations for individuals feared trapped beneath the debris. In Abuja, Nigeria, a three-storey structure collapsed in the Wuse Zone 4 area on Monday evening. The incident occurred just hours after the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) had sealed the building and ordered occupants to vacate due to visible structural distress and cracks. Emergency responders, including the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and the FCT Fire Service, mobilized to the scene. While property valued in the millions of naira was destroyed, authorities have reported no confirmed fatalities or trapped individuals at the site.
