ABVP announces 13 probable candidates for DUSU elections

The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has announced 13 probable candidates for the upcoming Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) elections. The shortlisted individuals include Alok Attri, Ayushi Sharma, Ishu Maurya, Krishna Yadav, Lakshya Raj Singh, Nitin Tanwar, Priyanshu Mahamana, Riya Chhawri, Riya Malik, Sunny Dedha, Tanya Mavi, Varun Yadav, and Yash Dabas.

As part of a week-long pre-campaigning exercise, these candidates will visit 47 colleges and five departments within the University of Delhi. The goal of these visits is to interact with students to gather feedback on their concerns and aspirations, which the organization intends to incorporate into its election manifesto.

The official announcement of candidates for the four Central Panel posts is expected on September 11, following the deadline for the withdrawal of nominations. The DUSU elections are scheduled for September 18, with the counting of votes to follow on September 19. Candidates must file their nominations by September 10.
