Overview
Following the conclusion of the nomination scrutiny process, the candidates for the Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) elections have been finalized. The election, scheduled for September 18, 2026, is expected to be a primary contest between the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI).
For the ABVP, the central panel includes Yash Dabas for President, Ishu Maurya for Vice President, Riya Chhawadi for Secretary, and Lakshyaraj Singh for Joint Secretary. The NSUI has announced its candidates as Vijay Shankar Meena for President, Veer Chhatrath for Vice President, Namrata Chaudhary for Secretary, and Gopal Chaudhary for Joint Secretary.
