Justice Saurabh Banerjee rejected the petition, noting that the photographic evidence provided was undated and lacked sufficient detail to prove that the individuals pictured were university officials. The Court further observed that taking photographs with candidates after the results declaration does not constitute illegal canvassing under the Lyngdoh Committee guidelines.
