ABVP dismisses AISA claims over Ranchi student protest as politically motivated

The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) responded to allegations made by the All India Students' Association (AISA) regarding a recent demonstration in Ranchi that focused on issues with the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) and the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC). ABVP called the accusations "baseless, misleading and politically motivated," saying AISA was using an ink‑throwing incident to divert attention from genuine student concerns and to gain political mileage. ABVP National General Secretary Dr Virendra Singh Solanki described the move as an "exercise in political desperation and cheap publicity" and urged an impartial investigation in accordance with the law.
