Abyan health officials receive medical supplies to combat cholera

Health officials in Abyan Governorate have received critical medical supplies to combat cholera and acute watery diarrhea outbreaks. The support, facilitated by the National Drug Supply Program and the Ministry of Public Health and Population, includes intravenous fluids and antibiotics intended for use in the Zinjibar, Lawdar, and Mudiyah districts, as well as the Al-Koud quarantine area.

Additional shipments of medicine are expected to arrive at central warehouses to support the province-wide epidemic response. Furthermore, arrangements are underway to provide medical supplies and emergency drugs to Al-Razi Hospital and two other facilities located near contact lines. This specific aid is being provided through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre to support medical needs in those areas.
