AC Milan eyes free signing of left‑back Raphael Guerreiro

AC Milan are monitoring the availability of Portuguese defender Raphael Guerreiro, who left Bayern Munich on a free transfer. The club sees him as a low‑cost replacement for left‑back Pervis Estupiñán, whose move to Aston Villa would free up wages and a transfer slot.

Guerreiro, a 1993‑born European Championship winner with Portugal, has played for Borussia Dortmund and Bayern and can operate as a full‑back, wing‑back or midfield‑wide player. Milan’s hierarchy believes his experience and versatility would strengthen a squad competing on three fronts, and the lack of a transfer fee makes the deal particularly attractive.

The final offer will depend on completing Estupiñán’s exit, after which Milan could move quickly to secure Guerreiro’s services.
