Estupiñán transfer status shifts from market to squad role

By mid-July 2026, AC Milan confirmed that left-back Pervis Estupiñán was available for transfer. By late August, the situation shifted as Amorim blocked further transfer attempts, including interest from Benfica. Although Estupiñán had been placed on the transfer list, Amorim decided to retain the defender as a “key component of his technical project” after personal evaluation. Consequently, Estupiñán has transitioned from a potential departure to a starter, appearing in the lineup for matches against Torino and Juventus.
