ACA Neogen launches soybean genetic varieties for Argentina

The strategic alliance ACA Neogen, formed by the Asociación de Cooperativas Argentinas (ACA) and Neogen (a GDM brand), has launched its soybean variety proposal for the upcoming agricultural campaign in Argentina. The partnership combines Neogen’s genetic technology with ACA’s technical expertise and territorial presence to provide regionalized seed varieties.

With the El Niño phenomenon expected to increase water availability, the alliance emphasizes that the primary challenge for producers has shifted from securing water to maximizing yields through precise management. Key factors for success include genetic selection, planting dates, weed control, and soil preparation.

One notable performance highlight includes the NEO 47S25 SE variety, which achieved yields of 5,266 kg/ha in a CREA network in southern Santa Fe during the 2025/26 period. The current portfolio aims to serve diverse production environments ranging from central-southern Buenos Aires to the northern regions of the country.
