Academic community supports Serbian student political list

More than 3,000 members of the academic community across Serbia have signed a letter of support for the “Studentska lista – Studenti pobeđuju” (Student List – Students Win) ahead of upcoming parliamentary elections.

Researchers, professors, and staff from various universities and scientific institutions expressed their support, stating they believe in a Serbia free of corruption where institutions establish the truth rather than citizens having to seek it in the streets. The signatories emphasized that knowledge, responsibility, freedom of thought, and the rule of law are essential for societal recovery. The movement was initiated by several academic groups, including the Academic Plenum and the Network of Academic Solidarity and Engagement.
