Academy of Sports Patras begins A2 national handball season

The Academy of Sports Patras is set to begin its 14th season in the men's A2 national handball category. The team will host G.S. Papasideris at the K. Petropoulos stadium in Koukuli.

Coach Giannis Papagiannopoulos and scorer Dimitris Efthimiou lead a squad primarily composed of young student-athletes. Club President Christos Devellegas noted that the team faces significant financial challenges, stating that travel expenses for competing against teams from the Attica region are nine times higher than those of their opponents.
