Acadian Ambulance expands Mississippi operations to George County

Acadian Ambulance Service is expanding its operations in Mississippi to include George County. This expansion follows a competitive bid process for 911 emergency response services.

The transition to Acadian is scheduled to be completed no later than October 17, 2026. The company will provide both emergency and non-emergency advanced life support (ALS) services. Acadian, which has operated in Mississippi since 2000, intends to use its existing operations in neighboring Jackson County to provide backup during periods of high call volume.
