Acadian Ambulance regional service expansion

Overview

Acadian Ambulance has secured new service contracts and expanded its regional presence in the Southern United States.

In late July 2026, the company was selected to renew its emergency medical services contract for Ouachita Parish, Louisiana, covering Monroe and West Monroe. This five-year agreement followed a competitive three-bid process. Additionally, four Acadian districts were recognized by the American Heart Association with Mission: Lifeline® EMS awards for clinical performance in 2025.

By August 2026, the company announced an expansion of its Mississippi operations into George County. Following a competitive bid for 911 emergency response services, Acadian is scheduled to begin providing both emergency and non-emergency advanced life support services in the area by October 17, 2026. The company plans to utilize its existing Jackson County operations to provide backup during high call volumes.
