Acapulco restaurant owner honors rescuers of wife and daughter

In Acapulco, Guerrero, the owner of the restaurant La Pequeña España has personally thanked the individuals who rescued his partner, Pamela Navarrete, and their three-year-old daughter during severe flooding. The incident occurred on Cuauhtémoc Avenue when a vehicle carrying the pair was swept away by strong currents caused by heavy rains.

Video footage showed Coca-Cola delivery workers using their truck to help divert the current and prevent the vehicle from being carried further away. A young man from the Acabús public transport system also joined the effort to help the woman and child exit through a rear window.

After searching for several days via social media, the restaurant owner located the three Coca-Cola employees—identified as Constantino, José Luis, and José Manuel—to express his gratitude. As a gesture of thanks, he offered the workers and their families lifetime free meals at his establishment and invited them to celebrate major life events at the restaurant. Coca-Cola FEMSA México also recognized the employees for their actions at their workplace.
