Acapulco restaurateur seeks heroes who rescued his family from floods

A restaurant owner in Acapulco, Guerrero, is searching for the individuals who rescued his wife and daughter during severe flooding caused by tropical storm Simon. The victims were trapped inside their vehicle as water levels rose rapidly.

According to reports, the rescue involved a passenger from the Acabús transport system, who helped pull the women through a car window, and workers from a Coca-Cola delivery truck, who used their vehicle to block the current and assist in the maneuvers. It is also noted that workers may have cut the electrical supply to ensure safer rescue conditions.

In gratitude, Ángel, the owner of the restaurant La Pequeña España, has issued a public plea on social media to locate these “heroes without capes.” He has offered them a financial reward and free meals for life at his establishment, including seafood and paella.
