The Access Women Network (AWN) has partnered with Evolve Charity Trust to distribute essential school supplies to girls across 17 schools in 12 Nigerian states. The initiative aims to support female education and alleviate the financial burden on families struggling to afford basic learning materials.

Participating states include Lagos, the Federal Capital Territory (Abuja), Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Kaduna, Kano, Imo, Kogi, Anambra, Delta, Osun, and Edo. The supplies being provided consist of uniforms, sandals, books, pens, and schoolbags.

Iyabo Soji-Okusanya, Executive Director of Corporate and Investment Banking at Access Bank Plc, stated that the initiative reflects a commitment to women’s empowerment and expanding educational opportunities. The Lagos phase of the program is scheduled for October 14, 15, and 30, 2026.
