Acea water service cuts affect towns in Abruzzo and Lazio

Acea scheduled a temporary suspension of water service along the Giardino aqueduct that supplies the Abruzzo coastal communes of Montesilvano, Città Sant'Angelo and Silvi. The interruption begins around 19:00 on 16 June and is expected to end around 07:00 on 17 June, allowing technical work on the conduit and pressure re‑balancing. Residents and businesses were advised to limit consumption beforehand and to anticipate possible low pressure or minor turbidity when service resumes.

On 17 June Acea Ato2 will carry out a 12‑hour maintenance operation in Monte Porzio Catone (Lazio), cutting water supply from 09:00 to 21:00 across numerous streets and the town centre. Tanker trucks will be positioned at Piazza Borghese, Via Romoli, Piazza Trieste, Via delle Cappellette and Via Fontana Candida to provide temporary water.
