Aceh disaster recovery funds reach 30.16 percent realization

The realization of additional Regional Transfer Funds (TKD) for handling hydrometeorological disaster impacts in Aceh has reached Rp498.25 billion, or 30.16 percent of the Rp1.652 trillion budget, as of September 25, 2026.

Government spokesperson Nurlis Effendi stated that the increase was driven by accelerated spending at the regency/city and regional work unit levels. The progress is reported to the Minister of Home Affairs, who serves as the head of the task force for post-disaster rehabilitation and reconstruction in Sumatra.

At the local level, combined realization across 14 regions rose to 30.63 percent of the Rp827.26 billion budget. Banda Aceh recorded the largest nominal increase, while Aceh Selatan maintains the highest absorption rate at 65.32 percent. Conversely, Nagan Raya reported a realization of only 2.69 percent, indicating a need for greater acceleration.
