ACM Neto Secures Political Backing While Expanding Campaign Platform

Bank owner Daniel Vorcaro told former Bolsonaro minister Fabio Faria that he received “total support” from ACM Neto, the Union Brazil candidate for governor of Bahia. The May 2024 conversation was recovered by the Federal Police and also referenced a possible outreach to the PT in Bahia. An investigation noted that A&M Consultoria, a firm linked to ACM Neto and his wife, paid R$ 3.6 million to Banco Master and Reag between 2023 and 2024; ACM Neto said the payments were for legitimate consulting services and denied any irregularity.

In a separate campaign move, ACM Neto promoted his slogan “Mudança com Segurança” (Change with Security), stressing public safety, education and employment. He announced a new university admission program called “Provão Bahia,” tied to a state‑wide first‑job initiative for students from public schools.
