On July 26, the candidates expanded policy proposals: ACM Neto detailed the "Pix Saúde" programme to fund private hospital and clinic care for patients unable to secure public‑sector slots, while Alagoas Senate pre‑candidate Renan Filho unveiled an additional scholarship for high‑performing public‑school students, a revival of the Professor Mentor programme, higher teacher salaries, improved school infrastructure and new sports centres.

The race remains focused on health, education and infrastructure promises as the August 1 convention approaches.
