Acquedotto Pugliese schedules water supply cuts in Oria and Cellamare

Acquedotto Pugliese will carry out infrastructure works that require a temporary suspension of tap water in the town of Oria, Brindisi province, on 3 June. The interruption will last eight hours, from 10:00 to 18:00, affecting several streets including Via Dragonetti Bonifacio, Via Palermo, Via Agrigento and Via Fratelli Bandiera. Residents in buildings without water tanks or reserves are advised to limit non‑essential water use.

A similar suspension is planned for the town of Cellamare, Bari province, on 4 June. The cut will last ten hours, from 09:00 to 19:00, with limited exemptions for certain residential zones. The utility also said water will be supplied via tankers placed at designated locations and urged consumers to ration water during the outage.
