Governors of Mato Grosso and Acre announce new security force recruitments

Mato Grosso Governor Otaviano Pivetta announced the immediate convocation of 220 candidates who passed the state police public‑service exam, ending the waiting list for soldiers. The new police officers will be deployed to the municipalities of Confresa, Alta Floresta, Juína and Peixoto de Azevedo. In the same announcement, the governor approved promotions for 18 fire‑corps captains to major, 45 police captains to major and 50 sergeants to sub‑tenente.

The government of Acre published an official notice calling 61 candidates who passed the fire‑brigade (CBMAC) exam to enroll in the Combat Soldier Training Course. The list includes 15 female and 46 male applicants, who must register by 31 July and will complete a minimum 1 600‑hour training program with full remuneration. Failure to attend or meet standards may result in discharge.

Both announcements aim to strengthen state security forces and provide career advancement for public‑service members.
