Acre implements modernization in asset management, logistics, and agriculture

The state of Acre is implementing several initiatives aimed at economic and administrative modernization. The State Secretariat of Administration (Sead) has delivered advanced workstations to engineering and architecture professionals to strengthen the technical capacity for evaluating public real estate assets. This modernization effort is supported by the Patrimonial Management Fund and includes technical training through the Progestão Acre program, which is developed with support from the World Bank.

In terms of economic strategy, Tião Bocalom has proposed transforming Acre’s geographic position into a logistical advantage. His plan focuses on establishing the state as a cross-border hub to connect Brazilian producers with Andean markets and Asian destinations via the Pacific Ocean, specifically utilizing Peruvian ports such as Chancay, Matarani, and Ilo.

Additionally, there is a push for increased technological integration in the agricultural sector. New services for soil, leaf, and water analysis have been introduced in Rio Branco to assist local producers. These technical services aim to improve productivity for the region's more than 30,000 family farmers by providing precise data on soil characteristics and input requirements.
