Acre’s exports surge past targets, driving record per‑capita GDP

The Brazilian state of Acre reported exports of US$ 98.9 million in the first half of 2026, exceeding its Agenda Acre 10 Years target by more than US$ 28 million. Sales reached 26 countries, with Turkey the top buyer, importing US$ 3.40 million of soy – 25.2 % of the month’s total. Other major products included beef (US$ 14.23 million) and castanha (US$ 12.50 million). The trade balance was strongly positive, with a surplus of over US$ 61 million for the period.

Acre also recorded its highest ever PIB per capita at R$ 31.7 thousand, more than 70 % above the target set by the state’s long‑term plan. Economists at Santander projected continued growth, forecasting a 2.8 % GDP increase in 2026, outpacing the national average.

The Federation of Industries of Acre (FIEAC) marked its 38th anniversary, highlighting its role in supporting industrial development, job creation and competitiveness in the state’s expanding economy.
