Activision Announces Modern Warfare 4 Beta Dates and Pre‑order Bonus

Activision revealed details for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, including the schedule for its upcoming beta and a pre‑order incentive. The global Call of Duty: NEXT livestream will take place on 21 August, during which new multiplayer features and map information will be shown. Immediately after the broadcast, the beta will become available. Early‑access beta runs from 21 to 25 August for players who pre‑order the digital Standard or Vault editions on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. An open beta follows from 28 August to 1 September and is open to all platforms, including Nintendo Switch 2, without a pre‑order requirement. New modes such as “Kill Block” and additional weapons, operators and equipment will be available for testing. Pre‑order customers receive the “Gilded Pearl” camouflage package, which includes the “Moonlit Pearl” skin and a special challenge in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 that unlocks the “Gilded Ruin” camo. The first 100,000 players to complete the challenge will obtain a uniquely numbered version of the skin.
