Call of Duty NEXT 2026 Modern Warfare 4 Activision livestream multiplayer beta game release

Activision announced that the Call of Duty NEXT 2026 livestream will take place on 21 August 2026, beginning at 9 p.m. PT (12 p.m. EST, 5 p.m. BST). The broadcast, streamed on the official Call of Duty YouTube channel, will showcase the first gameplay of the upcoming title Modern Warfare 4.

The event will also preview the multiplayer beta that follows the livestream. Pre‑order customers can access the beta from 21 August, with a public test running 28 August–1 September. Modern Warfare 4 is slated for release on 23 October 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2.

The game’s campaign is set against a large‑scale conflict triggered by a North Korean invasion of the Korean peninsula, featuring series veteran Captain Price among other characters.
