Activists report data misuse in Mexico as Ecuador's RC party faces internal discipline

In Ecuador, Gabriela Rivadeneira, president of the Revolución Ciudadana (RC) movement, has addressed internal disciplinary proceedings against 37 assembly members. The process was initiated by caucus coordinator Patricia Núñez following allegations of violating party agreements. Rivadeneira defended the Ethics and Discipline Council, asserting that its role is to analyze conduct rather than act as an inquisitorial body for expulsions. She emphasized that all members must adhere to internal rules and maintain party unity in public voting matters.
