Jesús Ochoa hospitalized after stage elevator accident

Mexican actor Jesús Ochoa was hospitalized following an accident during a performance of the musical ‘Perfume de Gardenia’ in Atizapán de Zaragoza, State of Mexico. The incident occurred during the Festival Internacional de las Artes Atzán when a stage elevator failed.

While initial reports from castmate Luis de Alba suggested a fall from a height of approximately 10 meters, Ochoa’s daughter, Jesusa Ochoa, issued a statement clarifying that the fall was actually about three meters. The family confirmed that while the actor sustained some bruises and injuries, none were life-threatening or required major medical intervention.

Despite the shock of the accident, Ochoa is reported to be in stable condition and is expected to resume his professional commitments this weekend.
