Jesús Ochoa stage elevator accident

Overview

Mexican actor Jesús Ochoa was injured during a performance of the musical ‘Perfume de Gardenia’ at the Festival Internacional de las Artes Atzán in Atizapán de Zaragoza, State of Mexico. The accident occurred when a stage elevator malfunctioned, causing Ochoa to fall.

While initial reports suggested a fall of approximately 10 meters, Ochoa’s daughter, Jesusa Ochoa, clarified that the fall was about three meters. Although early reports indicated hospitalization, Ochoa later stated he received medical attention at home, including an ultrasound. He reported experiencing an inflamed knee and significant heel pain, requiring the use of crutches.
