Actor Lee Jun-young spotted active during military service
South Korean actor Lee Jun-young, formerly of the group U-KISS, has been spotted maintaining a bright and active presence during his mandatory military service. Photos circulating on social media show Lee serving as a ‘company commander trainee,’ a role responsible for communicating instructions and leading fellow trainees.
Recent updates from his training period include Lee performing a dance challenge to the song ‘BAD’ by the group ATEEZ. Witnesses from the training center have also shared positive accounts of his character, describing him as exceptionally kind and cheerful. While some online speculation regarding his hairline has emerged due to his short military haircut, no official statements have been made regarding his health.
Before his enlistment on July 21, Lee completed filming for the upcoming tvN drama ‘Four Hands,’ which is scheduled to premiere on August 29. In the series, he portrays Choi Jung-yo, a piano prodigy navigating growth and competition at an arts high school. Lee is expected to complete his service and be discharged on January 20, 2028.
