AD Ports Group completes USD 835 million acquisition of Brazil's CLI

AD Ports Group has finalized its acquisition of Corredor Logística e Infraestrutura (CLI), a major Brazilian agri-bulk port terminal operator. The deal, valued at an enterprise value of approximately USD 835 million (AED 3.1 billion), represents the largest acquisition in the Group’s history and marks its first strategic entry into the South American market.

The transaction was completed following regulatory and antitrust approvals from Brazil’s National Waterway Transportation Agency (ANTAQ) and the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE). CLI was acquired from funds managed by Macquarie Asset Management and IG4 Capital.

Through its international arm, Noatum Ports, AD Ports Group intends to integrate CLI’s facilities, which include terminals at the ports of Santos and Itaqui, into its global operations. The Group plans to establish direct trade routes between Brazil and the Abu Dhabi Food Hub via Khalifa Port to facilitate the movement of agricultural commodities.
