AD Ports Group completes US$ 835 million acquisition of Brazil's CLI

AD Ports Group has finalized its acquisition of Corredor Logística e Infraestrutura (CLI), Brazil’s leading independent agri-bulk port terminal operator. The transaction, valued at an enterprise value of US$ 835 million, represents the largest acquisition in the Group’s history and marks its first strategic entry into the South American market.

The deal follows regulatory and antitrust approvals from Brazil’s National Waterway Transportation Agency and the Administrative Council for Economic Defense. CLI operates two critical agri-bulk export terminals: CLI Sul at the Port of Santos, which handles sugar, corn, and soybeans, and CLI Norte at the Port of Itaqui, a key logistics corridor in Brazil’s ‘Arc of the North’. Through this acquisition, AD Ports Group aims to strengthen its presence in a major global agricultural export market.
