Adachi City to host ‘UNKO OF UNKO’ collaborative art exhibition

The collaborative art exhibition ‘UNKO OF UNKO’ will be held at the Oasis gallery within Ayacenter Guruguru in Adachi, Tokyo, from September 12 to October 9. The event features a relay-style format where four different groups present works themed around ‘unko’ (feces) on a weekly basis.

The participating exhibitors include design company WOO Inc., volunteers from KAYAC Inc., street artist Unkorin, and illustrator Ikura Inoue. Throughout the month-long event, visitors can experience different artistic perspectives each week.

In addition to the displays, the exhibition will feature a special book titled ‘UNKO B UNKO’ containing works created for the event. The schedule also includes silk-screen events, ordered drawing sessions, and a final day featuring a talk event and live music performances.
