Themed unko art and entertainment events in Japan

Overview

Various themed art and entertainment events centered on ‘unko’ (feces) are scheduled across Japan for late 2026.

In Adachi, Tokyo, the Oasis gallery will host the ‘UNKO OF UNKO’ collaborative art exhibition from September 12 to October 9. This relay-style event features weekly presentations from design company WOO Inc., KAYAC Inc. volunteers, street artist Unkorin, and illustrator Ikura Inoue. The exhibition includes a special book titled ‘UNKO B UNKO’, silk-screen events, and live music.

Following this, Tanoshii Museum Co., Ltd. and KAYAC Inc. will launch the inaugural ‘Autumn BIG Unko Band 2026’ from October 1 to November 16. This event will take place at Unko Museum locations in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Okinawa, featuring musical performances by ‘Unko Animals’ characters and the sale of limited-edition merchandise.
