Adalgisa Favi, fashion entrepreneur in Marche, dies at 91
Adalgisa Favi, a prominent entrepreneur known as ‘Gisa’, has passed away at the age of 91. For over fifty years, she was a central figure in the high-end fashion and retail sector in the Marche region of Italy.
Her career began in Chiaravalle at a small tailor shop before she opened Chic Mode in 1965. Favi expanded her influence by traveling to Paris to track fashion trends and established a significant collaboration with Trussardi in 1979. In 1982, she expanded her operations to Ancona, opening a prestigious boutique that held exclusive rights for international brands such as Gucci and Dior.
The family business is currently led by her son, Toni, who continues to manage the boutique in Ancona.
