Adam Troy Mann pleads not guilty to Tori Dunn murder
Adam Troy Mann pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder in New Westminster Supreme Court on Monday, October 5, regarding the death of Tori Dunn. The trial, presided over by Justice David Layton, is expected to last approximately three weeks.
During the first day of proceedings, the court heard testimony from Trafford Wace, Dunn’s partner at the time of her death. Wace described the events of the weekend of June 15-16, 2024, noting that the couple had returned home to their Port Kells-area residence after attending a wedding and visiting family in South Surrey.
Wace testified that while he was in the bathroom, he heard Dunn scream. Upon rushing to her aid, he reported seeing a man positioned against a wall with Dunn in front of him.
