Adapazarı residents hold nightly watches against mysterious assailant

Residents of the Evren neighborhood in the Adapazarı district of Sakarya have begun conducting nightly patrols following a series of unsettling incidents. For approximately six months, an unidentified individual has been reportedly throwing stones at houses and pointing lasers at citizens during the night.

Local residents have organized themselves to monitor streets, gardens, and cornfields using flashlights and vehicles to search for the suspect. Some neighbors report that the individual has left bricks on their stairs or has been seen lurking in gardens. Witnesses have described the suspect as a thin, tall, and hunched individual, often dressed in black.

The ongoing situation has significantly impacted the community, causing sleep deprivation and psychological distress among families. While residents claim police have responded to the area, the individual has not yet been apprehended.
