Adeje to remodel Tinerfe El Grande Avenue for improved mobility

The urban center of Adeje will undergo a significant infrastructure remodeling project on Tinerfe El Grande Avenue. The project aims to improve access to the town from the TF-1 southern highway by increasing road capacity and reducing traffic congestion.

The expansion will transform the 425-meter avenue into a four-lane road, featuring two 3.50-meter lanes in each direction separated by a four-meter median. The plan also includes the addition of a 3.50-meter bicycle lane, widened sidewalks, and improved pedestrian paths to enhance safety.

The work will be executed in two phases: the remodeling of Tinerfe El Grande Avenue and the reorganization of the access roundabout to Adeje. The project includes pavement rehabilitation, raised pedestrian crossings, drainage improvements, new public lighting, and landscaping to adapt to the local topography.
